A friend posted a picture of a giant Halloween creature (I think it might be a scary version of Groot) in her neighborhood with a Santa hat, white beard, glowing eyes, and an over-sized Hawaiian shirt. It was disturbing.

Alternate punch-line: But Honey, I took all the Halloween yard decorations down weeks ago…(cue the scary music)

We have had a 12 inch hanging spider decoration in the archway of our dining room since we moved here almost thirty years ago. His name is Boris (bonus points for knowing) and has a green bowler for St Patty’s’, a stars and stripes top hat for July, a red Santa hat for Christmas, and a good vacuuming twice a year.

You say that like it’s a joke. My Xmas setup has zombies and Skeletons in Santa Hats, and tombstones bedecked in ribbons.
