A writer, not a fighter

The first, and most important thing, is to have a story worth writing.

I would write a book that would get turned into a series of movies.

Go for the trashy novel. It will sell more than a darling of the critics, who nobody cares about

Cue the “Why Not Both” meme.

I don’t get the punchline. Why is she telling him to “scoot back a bit”?

I can relate here. I’ve been writing some stuff for a long time, though I try to keep making progress.
