There used to be a show called Welcome Back Kotter about a teacher and 20 something year old “teenagers” in his class. John Travolta’s big start. Anyway one of the studii, Horshack had a long scarf and I wanted one like it. Couldn’t find one, so I knitted one. Came out pretty good too! That was my only time doing it.

…..check the Fat ‘n Fatter men’s clothing stores, I’m certain that they’re stocking those in prep for Valentine’s Day……..

Knitting has never interested me personally. However, my mother loved to knit. The only two possessions that I have from my mother since her death almost 40 years ago, aside from photographs, are a crucifix that she wore and a beautiful knitted blanket in very manly colors that I will prize until my death…..
