Also, sorry for not giving a review yesterday. I went to a wedding while the comic came out and when I came back, it was my bedtime. Yesterday’s comic gets a 4/10 because it was kind of weird.

As are we all at the realization that thus begins yet another boring and never-ending story arc. Time to retire the strip, Peirce.

Does Nate think that Mrs. Godfrey is going to approve of this?

Nate got Sherman a gift. That’s nice of him to do, but don’t hang him by his tail!

My kid’s hamster had a lot of fun with that ball – all around the house, and easy to find in 20 minutes.

He just might like seeing a different part of the world. He’s actually a metaphor for all of us, especially during this time. We need to get out more……..

I wonder if Sherman’s personality is copied from Garfield.

Reused the final panel from another strip.

I used to put a hamster in an exercise ball. I discovered that the cats loved it, the dogs took one sniff and moved on, and hamsters will roll themselves downstairs many times if you take them back up to the top. The bad part is if you forget to put them back in the cage overnight. (Never lost one, just had a few anxious moments of searching.)

I have high hopes for this arc! I love Sherman! And I want to say something… lately, there has been a lot of hate for Big Nate. People say that the arcs are boring and have no taste. They might not be as good as the old ones, but think about it! Mr. Peirce works his butt of to give us a comic strip that he thinks will make us laugh. I love Big Nate almost as much as Peanuts, and 32 years is a long time for him to draw and write this strip. Keep going strong, Mr. Peirce!

Francis: Come on Nate, we are going to be late for the junior woodchucks meeting.

Nate: ok,ok, what is the big announcement Mr.Garcia has anyway?

Francis I don´t know.

Nate: We gotta hurry, the meeting starts in 10 minutes.

(Francis and Nate run to the woodchuck meeting area.)

Mr.Garcia: Alright woodchucks quiet down. The big announcement is that we are going on a week-long camping trip.

Teddy: What should we pack?

Mr.Garcia: A tent,flashlight,bug repellent, a sleeping bag/pillow, and a medkit.

Chad: What about the snacks?

Mr.Garcia: You fish for food. Any more questions?

Why is everybody insulting Peirce? It is hard to come up with good stories for years.
