For a minute there, I thought “YEEP, YOP, HOOP, HEEP” might’ve been some new dance the kids came up with; but sadly it ended with “YAGH”.

I sometimes open those covers and climb down to the sewer…then I get in trouble when my sister tells on me.

Mom had a box camera, OK this was a long time ago. I got her a new-fangled camera with a built-in flash. She told me she didn’t like it, that flash was blinding. Yes..she was holding it backwards.

She shows the pictures to everyone because otherwise they wouldn’t believe her.

Au contraire, Alice, my little friend! I think Mom’s camera is absolutely required now! So much for dancing in snow pants on an ice-coated manhole cover…..

I keep thinking of Danny Kaye in the Knight of the Burning Pestle (was it?), where he impersonates an entertainer but doesn’t know how to dance, so he fakes flamenco, starting with the part where you “stand—and stand—and stand…”
