I liked the ’toon he did of a cat in the meatloaf position looking at and empty corner and imagining an empty corner.

They just want to make you look. They win if you look.

They have good x-ray vision.

I think they can see the invisible aliens.

I know what cats stare at when they seem to be staring at nothing: poltermice.

So, the guy in the red chair’s not really there. Huh! Poor cat’s not going to get a meal out of him, then.

They see dead people.

Kitty is just messing with your mind. Truthfully my younger kitty does this from time to time-resistance is futile.

Even if nothing’s there

Mostly they can see how easy it is to mess with us. I get back at them. I used to “lose” my two house cats inside the house. I would call and look in all the closets as they followed me around. They were so relieved when I finally “found” them.

Of course they can. They have sensory equipment humans can’t imagine.
