CNN is already talking about dumping Biden and naming other Democrat candidates to run for President in 2024. The problem is that you could place the other candidates together in a blender and you would barely get a candidate from any of them.
Conservatives have constantly claimed that Democrats are concerned with polling numbers when it comes to policies, yet those numbers are all they seem to care about.
Polls only matter to those who want to run for reelection. Biden should govern as if there is no tomorrow for him. Do the right thing and give the majority of Americans the campaign promises you made; screw the corporate donors.
Biden slams Republicans’ ‘unrelenting assault’ on voting rights
US President Joe Biden vowed once again on Friday to face down Republicans’ “unrelenting” attacks on minority voting rights, speaking in front of students at a university in South Carolina historically linked to the African-American community.
“I’ve never seen anything like the unrelenting assault on the right to vote,” the Democratic leader told a graduation ceremony at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg.
Biden’s presence at the ceremony carried a powerful symbolic and political significance for the 79-year-old president.
He also warned that “this new sinister combination of voter suppression … and election subversion is un-American”
“This battle is not over,” Biden warned. “We continue to confront the oldest and darkest forces in this nation, hate and racism.”
In Kentucky, Joe Biden proved again that he’s a president for all Americans, even those who hate him
When President Joe Biden visited Western Kentucky on Wednesday to survey damage from the deadly tornadoes, he proved once again that he is a president for all Americans, even those who hate him. And Biden again displayed his basic decency and empathy for those who suffered a great loss. This quality is often overlooked by the mainstream media focused on the partisan divide in D.C.
Biden spent much of his time in Mayfield, the county seat of Graves County. In the 2020 election, Donald Trump carried Graves County by a margin of 78% to 21%.
Biden reassured local residents that the federal government would cover 100% of the cost to clean up from the tornado damage for the first 30 days of coverage, among other offers of federal assistance.
“There’s no red tornadoes or blue tornadoes. There’s no red states or blue states when this stuff starts to happen. And I think, at least in my experience, it either brings people together or really knocks them apart,” he continued.
Just compare that to Donald Trump’s lack of empathy and blame shifting when California was hit by raging wildfires in August 2020.
“I see again the forest fires are starting," he told a rally in swing state Pennsylvania, trying to score political points off of the tragedy in a blue state.“They’re starting again in California. I said, you gotta clean your floors, you gotta clean your forests — there are many, many years of leaves and broken trees and they’re like, like, so flammable, you touch them and it goes up.”
“Maybe we’re just going to have to make them pay for it because they don’t listen to us,” he added.

Should governments be run by polls? If so, slavery would have lasted a lot longer.
