OK, has anyone besides Oldbot done this in real life?

On the first cold day of fall, I couldn’t find my keys and thought I’d locked them in the car. I was looking for my phone when I realized that I had a coat on with the keys in the coat pocket.

Lost my car keys 40 years ago on my wedding day. Future father-in-law rushed over & found them in the car door lock.

This shows that Oldbot has achieved a human level of intelligence.

Looked all over for a wireless mouse, all the while it was in the pocket of the shorts I was wearing. (To be fair, they were cargo shorts.)

Ever since my first Cell phone I’ve thought the most unrealistic thing on Star Trek was that we never heard Kirk saying, “Spock, call my communicator – I’m sure I had it when I came in here.”

Things are always in the last place you look.

Pluggers, the whole lot of us.

“And where are my glasses?”

“Oldbot, you don’t wear glasses.”

“… And perhaps we should schedule an ocular unit exam…”

“I I only had a brain”

For a moment there I wondered where he actually put his phone….I’m opened Thursday dr. Mel

Obviously a problem that comes from having had a phone that wasn’t also a computer—for many years! You COULDN’T lose your phone back in the day!

You have to laugh when it happens to you – if you can remember why you are laughing. :) :(

Pleading the 5th…

I have a friend who was talking on his cellphone with his wife while going to the store. When he entered the store he turned around went back to the car and was looking for his cellphone while continuing to talk with his wife. She asked him for what he was looking. He told her his cellphone. She told him that it was in his hand and that he was talking on it.He said, “oh”.

Ouch, maybe a little too close to home.
