Driverless is an old concept.. Our horse knew the way home after a days work, never ever needed to correct him.. slow down occasionally but never a turn.
There are many stories were when the musher got lost, he let the lead dog decide where to go and the dog had no problem getting to base, so driverless dog sleds might be a better idea than driverless cars. At least with the sled, the individual deciding where to go is paying attention.
