As it turns out, Monty is the sort of person to watch a fictional show and use a method for dealing with fictional creatures to try and get past a very real dog.

There really is such a thing. But probably not as bad as an infestation of pine beetles.

My Old Spice antiperspirant for men now comes in a lavender version.

My grandmother used to put a bar of Yardley’s Lavender Soap in her lingerie drawer. Lavender scent usually reminds me of her.

I stayed in a bed-and-breakfast place that was “pet friendly”. Apparently, the way they handled pet odors was to set off a “lavender bomb” in the room before new guests arrived. It took some getting used to.

I just love lavender the color and the scent. Overdose? Only Monty could accomplish it.
