Went to a Chipotle Saturday and as we entered, some other people were leaving and said, “It’s cash only.” I guess they went home hungry. There was no problem using my wife’s “get cash back on restaurant meals” card. The card reader inside was down, but the one at the drive-through worked.
I’m trying to remember the last time I paid cash for something. 2020? 2019? Carrying around and handing people pieces of paper and bits of metal is so inconvenient compared to the alternative.

There is a difference between absolutely no cash and obsolete cash.
