One year ago today, Trump incited a violent mob to storm the capital. Stantis commemorates the day with a silly pratfall.
No need for links, any actual news source has ample evidence compiled refuting any and all allegations put forth to support Trump’s lie about election fraud. Only the propaganda sources give cover to the revisionists whitewashing the insurrection. If we have no shared reality, we can have no union.
There appear to be no coherent conservative people following this comic strip. At least, any that are making commentary.
If the point of this strip was to point out a logical, well-thought out conservative point of view – on anything – this strip has failed.
That said, thank you to all the liberal commentators who grace this page, usually with fact filled and well-researched news items and commentary (Silly, I’m looking at you).
It is a pleasure to see you guys here, even though I have decided that I „have a life“ and don’t bother to comment on this page very often anymore.

Disclosure: A native of Illinois, I always used to look up to Republicans and their first successful president: Abraham Lincoln.
It is so sad that, pretty much from Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon on, it’s no longer a party of the people.
But from Watergate to now, 06 Jan, Republicans now leave such a bad taste in my mouth.
Moreover, seeing the results of conservative policies over the years, I no longer see any hope for the party.
They do what they do because they don’t think they can win at the ballot box.
Maybe the reason they can’t win at the ballot box is that they really don’t have anything to offer anyone other than their big business donors. (And don’t get me started on „trickle down“, which has been demonstrated time after time after time as, in fact, trickle up.
Articles abound that we are fast approaching the income inequality of the feudal Middle Ages – all the while, blaming the very people who are the victims for their fate, as if they, the hardest working of all of us, are somehow not working hard enough to deserve what those who „chose the right parents“ have.
Is it any wonder that Republicans cannot win at the ballot box – unless they are allowed to choose who can vote?
