“Teachable Moments” are, quite often, harder on the “teacher” than they are on the “teachee”. Which doesn’t alter the fact that they are needed.
Always remember that the difference between “spoiled brat” and “loving child” is often a very small one.
Tough love is needed at times. If you continue to bail them out, they’ll continue to screw up because they know you’ll bail them out continuously. They need to learn there are consequences to actions.
