I heartily recommend ‘Scientists Confront Creationism: Intelligent Design and Beyond’. 17 Jan. 2008 by Andrew J. Petto (Editor), Laurie R. Godfrey. Also Dawkins, most of them, for the evidence in support of evolution (which is greater even than this astrophysicist thought). Not ‘just’ a theory, as the creationists claim.

Stupid intelligent designer. Why couldn’t he have stuck at designing jeans?

That’s the thing that bothers me the most about creationists. They’re always crowing about America’s “greatness” and then go out of their way to subvert efforts to empower the next generation to improve things. We see the same thing in the ill-informed hysteria over critical race theory.

Favoring politics or religion in education never turns out well in the long run.

I can also see the Creationist Biology 101 paper (100% pass rate) marking scheme: Q1: God did it; Q2 God did it; Q3 God did it… and so on until it is not funny.

Yes, God made everything…we didn’t “evolve” from apes…apes are apes, man is man, viruses are viruses…they can’t change into something else. They can change a little about themselves…they can change how they attack a person, they “learn”, just like humans can grow and learn. But again, they can’t become a bacteria….they’re a virus. So, in my belief, God did design and make everything.

I suppose one could argue that God created natural selection….
