Oh Fred, couldn’t you invite him in? Have some breakfast together and maybe then go out to play an come back in after that, cuddling uo in front of the fireplace together…Happy sunday to everybody!

I don’t blame you one bit for not going out to play, but seriously, couldn’t you have gotten the Dears to let Jock in out of that foul weather to snuggle in front of the fire? That would have been the polite and caring thing to do

Fred, third panel would have been much nicer if Jock was sleeping by you warm fire, too!

I had a retired greyhound years ago who refused to accept it was raining. She’d insist we leash-up and go for walks … until we got out from under the house’s eves and she started getting wet. 180 and back in.

As everyone else has said, the courteous thing to do is invite Jock in. Scotties are hearty and durable dogs that don’t mind the snowy weather, but I’ve never heard it said that they object to a warm fire, either.

Why would Jock’s family even let him out on a day like the that, or did he sneak out?

But if he lets Jock in, who KNOWS what Jock might do to the house (besides getting everything wet…)

I notice the radar map here is all blue [snow falling], so I too shall be taking a day off and staying inside by the fire.

Well, I see it is nearly unanimous that we believe Fred should have let Jock come in. Which is as it should be!!!!! What were you thinking, Alex Graham?!?
