Colors as grapes.. not bad. Green ones, ripe ones some in transition and a few diseased ones that are off-color.

I always loved when my kids were at that age and said words incorrectly. Always so cute.

And at that moment – Fruit of the Loom knew they had a future spokesperson in Dill…

In my house, we still say things like Frig Newtons, Mazagines, Aminals, Gwoss!, and a few others – all from our kids when they were tots. When they got a bit older it was more like: Dad! What’s a SEE-dan? My book says Nancy Drew hopped into the SEE-dan! How do you pronounce Llchwiddfyngst? It’s in Wales! Um, ask you mother. :)

My next door neighbor called an octopus an augiepuss and I loved hearing it so much and he would get so irritated at being asked that he said it with an exasperated reaction ; which made it even more cute

Hahaha! Alice and Madeline both delighted for slightly different reasons. Ahhh, the simple pleasures of life.

Dill’s generally sticky under any circumstances. You could probably get the same effect using nerf balls.

When my son was at that age he lost a favorite toy somewhere in the living room. He came over to me despondent over his toy and I encouraged him to continue his search. With the saddest little face he said, I lurking, I lurking!" Wonderful days!

Madeline is the coolest Mommy in comics! And she has a great sense of humor about her offspring!
