We had that when it first came out. Set a speaker off in a corner of a room. The sound of Horses galloping away would first come out of the console (yup, it was almost 3 decades ago) and then switch to the surround sound speaker as the sound faded into the distance.

Susceptible Monty is not psychologically mature enough to watch horror films without destroying some or all of his home.
But he is right about one thing: don’t go into the basement!
