And we delegate our children to their care for 6-8 hours a day; in the meantime, our culture pays sports “heros” millions of dollars. If you spend more time thinking about your professional and college sports than you do of your local schools; you are part of the problem. Volunteer at your local school, but part of the solution.

Republicans think that is too much, which is why they are trying to ruin teachers unions.

Well, SOMEONE has to stand up to the experts. We should never leave education in the hands of the educators (or science in the hands of scientists or medicine in the hands of doctors or governance in the hands of governors or….).

Remember when Conservatives used to criticize Liberal kids as being snowflakes who needed safe spaces to protect them from discrimination?

Now the Conservatives are demanding safe spaces for their kids to protect them from knowledge.

Buncha snowflakes.

How is the Trumpista going to approve lesson plans when he can’t even read?

And the proof of his inability to read (or at least his inability to comprehend what he’s read) is based on the fact that, over a year after the2020 election, he still persists in the belief that Trump, not Biden, won the last presidential election, and this is after over 60 attempts to prove otherwise in the courts; all of which have been summarily dismissed!

He MAY BE an adequate parent, but he is certainly an unhinged political operative!

The pay is higher in some areas but always much lower than other professional jobs that require the same amount of education and licensing.
