    That’s a great response from Sarah in the final panel. Maybe Eddie’s old enough to begin understanding limits, what with his magic tricycle yesterday and whatever glitter-fest he had in mind today. It might be time to dispense with the notion that anything you con think of is a good idea.

    Some shop vacuums have a fitting on the output side that could do that. No, I’m not telling Eddie. It’s one of the ways you can thread a pull string through a long conduit!

    As I was reading, I noticed I have all that stuff, including glitter. Assuming you count sawdust and metal chips as man-glitter.

    One day when I was maybe a year or so older than Eddie, my mom, instead of the usual “if you’re so bored I’ll give you something to do”, came out and admitted that she firmly believed that boredom was great for developing a child’s imagination.

    50+ years later, I find that I agree!
