This problem reminds me of a friend with the same complaint.
Let’s see, the last time she dumped it out in front of me I recall the contents were: a large wallet, numerous pens and pencils, make up, brushes, ointments and creams, a WHOLE bunch of change. Various medical supplies which would carry her through the jungles of Africa for months, OH, and a set of rather heavy stones that an old friend of hers told her was MANDATORY to carry at all times.
Big Purse is much more insidious than that. You made the mistake of buying a Little Purse. Big Purse uses those as bait. You buy one, put just one thing too many in it, it tears, and what’s the natural response? You go buy a Big Purse. Be careful, though. If you don’t watch out you’ll end up falling for the Even Bigger Purse scam. Don’t ask me how I know this… 0_0

You pack stylishly light-and have a sturdy husband with a backpack in tow. Hint: make him wear a red bow tie so you can find in a crowd.

Try a soft side tool bag… Plus you get reinforced ‘gate mouth’ as an added bonus. Leather or fabric; raw canvas or colorful nylon…

The stuff at outlet malls is second tier or lower merchandise intended for sale at outlet malls. Almost none of it ever appeared in real stores.
