I was thinking perhaps Knute’s cap was a reference to the Apollo 13 film .. but that was released in the summer of 1995.

ahh .. July 20, 1994 was the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing.

I believe Mr Hand let Jeff Spicoli just squeak by to avoid this scenrio but apparently Mr F gets the same students back regardless if he fails or passes them.

The LIVE-ACTION version of THE FLINTSTONES was a “cultural event”?? (One reviewer called it “a cynical marketing exercise disguised as a movie.”)
