So a disaster happened on Saturday. We had the most terrible, very strong wind storm (Storm Malik) and it knocked out our internet and phone line. So we have no WiFi and no landline until Thursday at least.
I have to use my mobile data for internet access at the moment but it renewed on the 27th so I have a lot of it. I’ve taken the liberty to install the Facebook & Messenger Lite apps because they consume less data and memory. But what I really need to do is stop watching YouTube videos! Funnily enough my phone already had Facebook Lite installed when I got it, I should have kept it on.
You never hear of the UK having natural disasters very often. But we’re all safe in the “Number Three” household. We still have electricity so that is such a blessing as well.
Anyway, I’m going to bed now. Stay safe, Cappers! I shall be back once this comment turns 12 hours old. Love ya.
@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny < our HERO Mr Andrew Capp has fun confusing the cops :o) my avatar again is a picture of my birth sign Leo roaring his head off because he’s in a good mood as I am , how was your day , our MANIC MONDAY should be a little busy but we should cope I hope , we both are in a good mood , no shopping or errands to run just stay inside the house because it’s cold outside and keep hydrated till this evening when the greengrocer van comes up our street , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
I recall one of the Ferengi ‘Rules of acquisition’ from Star Trek – Deep Space 9. “Every now and again, declare peace. It confuses the hell out of your enemies.”
When I was being escorted out of my job at the K-Mart Distribution Center, I grabbed & shook the hand of one person I had clashed with many times who had no respect for my seniority or knowledge of the job and said, “Wayne, it’s been a pleasure!” He said, “Uh, thanks…” and we let go and continued in opposite directions. the AGM who walked me out stole a glace and commented, “You confused him.” “I know.” I so relate to Andy right now.
If we had a greengrocer van come up our street, I would buy strawberries. Love them. It’s weird but I find them addictive.
As you have probably saw from my first comment, I have no WiFi until Thursday at least. But I will cope, I hope! Thank God for mobile data but I am avoiding watching videos because it eats up the data rather quickly.
I will be going to the library on Wednesday after I’ve been to KFC. There is free WiFi there but I don’t sit with my phone while I’m there, I use the computers.
Stay safe, stay well, stay warm and stay happy, pal.

Those two bobbies won’t be confused once Capp starts another drunken brawl.

Always nice to give the guardians of the law a verbal pat-on-the-back, every once in a while. Keeps ‘em guessing what you’re really up to.
