I really don’t want to be one of those “this comic isn’t suited to MY particular tastes therefore it’s BAD” people but I really miss when this strip was more grounded in reality. It feels like a loss somehow.
Characters growing and changing is one of my favorite tropes and I was bummed out when it turned out “Bob’s Burgers” was going to be as static as “the Simpsons”… the kids never getting older, advancing in grades, etc. There’s so much more material to draw from. Or I guess you can have desert adventures looking for the Fountain of Youth.

Looks like the area immediately north of the city of Arad in Israel. That’s a trek that’s definitely not for the faint hearted.
