I thought at first the cat was going to jump down on the man’s stomach. That would be a good wake up call, too. But the cat figured out something even better.

Nature doesn’t need to apologize for dogs. But she (he or it) does owe us an apology for fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and assorted other pests.

Took my first tumble off my bike yesterday, luckily into some soft brush so there was no damage.

Hmph. Sometimes I wish my Simon were just a bit more dog-like…his late lamented sister Darcy (the tabby in my avatar) was much more overtly loving.

I’m not a dog person, but I can’t imagine a world without dogs.

Every time it rains, a dog has slobbered. Zuzu Bailey.

I’m getting a second cat tomorrow: Smudge’s sister, Marshmallow. She is technically my great-granddaughter’s cat, but will be living with me as she is driving my grandson stark raving mad. Since I am as mad as the March Hare and the Hatter combined, the three of us should get along swimmingly.
