A program is an entertaining or informative presentation supported by companies that pay millions of dollars in the vain hope you’ll stick around long enough to view their 30-second attempts to convince you to buy their product or service.
If Wanda wants to watch a program, she’ll have to hide the remote or at least remove the batteries, forcing Darryl to actually get off the couch to change the channel, a move he is unlikely to make.
