Zoe reminds me of the protagonist in Mark Twain’s short story “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County.” He was a man who was “the curiosest man about always betting on anything that turned up you ever see, if he could get anybody to bet on the other side; and if he couldn’t he’d change sides.”
If Zoe can’t get someone to argue against her, she’ll change sides.
