    Mr. Doyle isn’t wrong. If it’s not going to be on the standardized test at the end of the year, you can forget about learning it.

    This is because many school boards and principals only care about the school statistics, how many students pass the state-mandated tests, average grade points. The best teachers want their students to learn and do their best to teach to the range of academic levels in their class. However, they are often hampered by the powers that be who only care about their image and the next school board election.
