I love how no one says anything when he makes sometimes major purchases without consulting her (mountain bike, golf clubs, etc – all leisure activities), but if she plans a family thing without consulting him, everyone jumps on how much of a jerk she is.
Should she consult him? Yes. But also remember the strip where he gets on her about how he doesn’t want her to make any plans, etc, and just have a restful day, she immediately agrees… and then he’s completely lost and immediately asks her what they should do that day. It speaks a bit about BOTH of their personalities.
