Really really lame today. Its as if a computer program comes up with the dialog here, along with cut and paste figures. Sad to see someone who used to make some fairly decent political commentary fall so far since the old Republican Party has turned into the Trump + Qanon conspiracy unlimited Party. Hopefully the Trumpbots do not get elected in 22 as some current TrumpubliQan candidates like OK GQP candidate Jackson Lahmeyer(a preacher no less) running against current OK Sen Lankford is telling supporters that if elected he can help bring back Trump as President before 2024 by throwing Biden out of office. This would involve GQP winning control of Congress, installing Trump as Speaker of the House, declaring Biden mentally incompetent and impeaching VP Harris. (SIGH) the attempted coup-by the party that can’t count or shoot straight continues. The fact that these Trumpbots are apparently illiterate as they have neither read nor comprehended the constitution rather depending on Trumps idiot lawyers(whose court record is 0 for 60)to cherry picking disparate items of the constitution as they attempt to continue the sandbox coup. God help us all if the GQP manage to take over Congress. I think Trumps insanity is communicable, currently spreading to those hard right candidates that are running against seats already held by Republicans who actually dared to disagree with him
This sounds very much like the (short) conversation I had with a right-wing evangelical (sic) cousin of mine. I take the ‘people are basically good’ position, which has worked well for me for 70+ years. Apparently he’s had different experiences. Thus the ‘philosophical’ difference. Recognizing that helps me to be more understanding.
So far, all the opinions on people being negative here are coming from the Gops, like they’re the arbiters of such things. They’re not at all upset that nobody but their three friends ever “Like” their steady sniping at liberals, nope.
Besides, what’s there to be negative about? They’re frolicking! Laff at this eternity of desperate, joyless mumbling and posing. Chuckle at their empty, yearning eyes. Classic!
