Mitty, you aren’t the only fierce predator whose war cries are misinterpreted. Sanibel doesn’t “chirp” so much as she “clicks” or “sputters.” I think of it as short-circuiting.

I agree the little “battle cries” are the cutest things ever, but there are some thinks a good cat mama keeps to herself.
