Today is Mothering Sunday here in the UK. Traditionally, Mothering Sunday is the third Sunday before Easter Sunday in the UK calendar.
One of my comments on Friday was in response to someone who had said Mrs Dear hadn’t been “to bright”. I replied that the commentator hadn’t been “too bright” in writing “to bright” and not correcting it. Someone told me this was “Not nice” as the commentator might not be a native speaker/writer. I accept this criticism but I was amused that someone had made a mistake in criticising someone else.
