Iāve always had a home computer since the early 1980ās. I think I am on my 5th printer. The current one is at least 10 years old. I went from dot-matrix to toner. Iāve never messed with ink-cartridge. Toner is a lot cheaper.
They also know to fear. I have a small reputation as one who can make a computer (and its peripherals) behave just by approaching it. You might call me āThe Computer Whispererā ā only I think thatās a really stupid nickname, so please donāt.

Iāve used computers and printers for work over the last 30 years. Aunty is absolutely right.
The reliability of a printer is inversely proportional to the urgency of the job.
