A shelf collapsed at a store I was working at in high school. It had coke and pepsi and other sodas on it. Many of the cans and bottles ruptured in the fall and sprayed their contents everywhere. It took a long time to clean up. But it had the good manners to happen during the day.
She’s lucky. When my husband was the “manager in charge,” and got one of these calls, he had to drive eight miles to the store at two in the morning, and physically confirm that nothing was missing.

Spaghetti sauce in glass containers. A shelf full. Front end loader needed in aisle 7.
