Incredible! Putin invades Ukraine on Biden’s watch, and the delusional left wing propagandists here are still yammering about President Trump when he’s been out of office for over a year. Putin was probably rubbing his hands in glee when Biden was inaugurated and no doubt dusted off his plans for invasion at that time. We certainly saw him gearing up for this last summer. Odds are that he would have done this long ago except for the fact that a strong President Trump took office.
How do we know this? Whenever Putin acted up around the world President Trump slammed him down hard. Bombed Russian bases and installations in Syria destroying hundreds of millions in equipment and munitions, also killing more than 300 Spetsnaz troops disguised as ‘mercenaries’. Heh, I listened to the recording of a panicked Russian officer on that one and read the translated transcript. “They’re f*cking killing us here”, he was screaming. President Trump also shut down three Russian facilities in the USA and deported 80+ Russian diplomats (spies). Then there were all the sanctions. The Russian foreign minister bemoaned that President Trump laid more sanctions on them in his first three years than Obama did over his eight years in office. Most of those sanctions Biden lifted in the first weeks of his administration. Putin couldn’t have been happier.
So now there’s a full scale invasion of Ukraine and what has Biden done? Not much. Yesterday he laid down a handful of weak and inconsequential sanctions that Putin basically sneered at. We’re waiting for another response later today and the entire world will be watching. Biden is now a wartime president and he had better start acting like one. Does anyone really see that happening? Odds are Putin has already threatened Biden with the ‘kompromat’ his GRU has on his family as well as reminding him of the millions of Russian dollars in the Biden’s coffers. We’ll see.
Ronald Reagan took the Ukraine and Crimea from Putin in 1989. Only five presidents later, we “elect” (if that’s really the word) a doddering Altzheimer’s patient who appears formidable to no one but the cockroaches in the West Wing. If you wish for peace (never mind cheap gas prices), do a better job of preparing for war.
If Trump, Carlson, etc are okay with Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and doing the same in the U.S., isn’t that giving comfort and aid to a foriegn power? Isn’t that the definition of treason?
