A face card or a 10 and an Ace is called “Blackjack”. Also, if you are dealt two cards with the same value, you can split them, get two more cards dealt to you, one for each, and play two hands, although you probably would not want to do that with cards of high value, 9s, 10s, or face cards.

Does anyone hear, “you got to know when to hold ’em” playing in the background?
