When I visited SF some years back, I stumbled upon the CAM while exploring, was like “dayum, I’m in!” — and there was a big exhibit of Keith’s work. And I knew who he was! Loved every panel.
The C.A.M. has reopened on the weekends for the time being as health and safety restrictions by state and local government permit. Yes, even though we moved away, we are still members. A great ongoing exhibit is one on animation from the 1920s to today. And while you are visiting the Beautiful City by the Bay don’t forget the visit the Disney Family Museum on the grounds of the Presidio. BTW, you can reach the CAM by cable car. You have to walk a few blocks/. Going the other direction will take you to Ghirardelli Square for some fine shops and Chocolate.

Dang, memory is fuzzy, but has it really been 20+ years since Keef lost his dreads? The time, it does slip away.

Been waiting for Season 2 of “Woke” to debut. C’mon Hulu, put it out.

Cool. My kid recently moved to SF and lives on the same block as the CAM. Another reason to visit ASAP.

Keith Knight is a local hero to me. I’m from Walnut Creek, so hearing about this is more exciting than anything!!! I can’t wait to check it out :D

Whatever happened to Mort Walker’s cartoon museum in Florida? Didn’t I hear it folded?
