In 1988, when I got my first nurse’s cap (back in the days when nurses actually wore caps), I put my “student nurse” patch on it with a little KY jelly…. that sucker is STILL on there 34 years later!! It’s survived numerous washings, ironings, and being covered with substances best not mentioned. Even the corners are still firmly in place, no peeling or anything.
