When you are subject to war crimes like we have been shown, banding together for support is the way to go. Don’t put relief on just one country, but many. Show the world where you stand….for good or bad. We won’t forget what you did.
These heartbreaking days have made me appreciate the anchor we all are for each other more than ever. It helps me a lot to put my feelings on paper, but it’s knowing that so many people are standing together that’s the greatest comfort. I have to take a break from drawing and posting for the next several days while I travel to help care for a family member (not Mom — she’s fine, thanks). I can’t take my pens and colored pencils with me, but I will be sending love and prayers to Ukraine every day and gratitude to each of you for our togetherness.
Thank You So Much for this series! It expresses so well what is in the hearts of so many. Safe travels. And while taking care of others remember to take care of yourself.
There are far more good people than bad in this world, it’s just that the bad get all the attention. My hope is that the Trumpists continued kissing up to Putin comes back to bite them in the butt by November. I also hope that Covid rates and deaths continue to drop and food and/or gas prices stabilize between now and Election Day and that the Dems get out the message of the good things that have happened in Biden’s first year as President (the infrastructure bill, the vax rollout, etc.) on the morning and Sunday chat shows. They may still lose the House and/or Senate in November, but I’d rather see them swing for the fences than roll over and play dead.
