A welcome relief from the last arc starring Duke and (yecch!) Trump!!

So, bad news in the post as well as on the news.

This is a perfect example of one aspect of good story-telling: Taking a broad look at the story situation and noticing a potential sub-arc way off to one side.

My ex-daughter-in-law and I get along better now than when she was married to my son. Well, I say we do….she might say differently ; )

Yeah, that “I ditched my family to hook up with a worthless drifter” call to Mom is always easy to put off.

If the wedding included JJ, their daughter, he wouldn’t have referred to it as Mike’s wedding. You’d of course mention your kid’s name first- or at the very least include it in the comment.
