There must be a broken window on the way to the clerk, but is he smart enough to use it? Found my first snake of the year on my late afternoon walk, a large red racer. I thought at first that it was just cold, as I was able to pick it up with very little resistance, there were no apparent injuries and it’s eyes were bright. I tried warming it inside my sweatshirt, and kept it in a pillowcase overnight but it apparently was freshly hit on the side of the road and not alive this morning. Sad.
It’s always the extra fees that get you. I wonder how much shrimp this is going to cost that bird. On another note, saw five robins and two geese while out walking today.
