I spell my name out, then pronounce it, and people still call me by the wrong name.
The name could be anglicized, or her family might come from an area with a different pronunciation from the “standard”.
Yeah people feel very entitled about what name they want to call you.
In an earlier strip, she admitted she just lets it go when people at the office think her name is “Manure.”

I have had people argue with me on how to pronounce my last name.
And yet, no matter how you pronounce it, a douche is still a douche.
One time when I was a cashier, a customer told me I spelled MY name wrong! Ha! People are weird.
