“Think of the children” It’s a cliché, a rhetorical tactic. It is a plea for pity that is used as an appeal to emotion, and therefore it becomes a logical fallacy. Children are viewed as innocents in need of protection. They are going to have to learn, about Ziggy with no shirt and no pants, they might as well learn early and learn to puke.
