There was one summer when I finally got old enough to go to church by myself (at that time it was in our grade school two blocks away.) I’d go to 9 o’clock service, hurry home, make myself scrambled eggs and Oscar Mayer sausage and sit and watch Flash Gordon on TV. Happy times! And still one of my favorite breakfasts.
