Not gonna lie, as a rule of thumb you generally shouldn’t impulse buy fish. And apparently bowls are pretty bad for fish due to the shape, and you can’t fit a heater or a filter inside.
It might have been better to buy the bowl, gravel, etc. and then take Wanda down to the pet store to pick out her own fish. Less traumatizing for the fish than all that handling, gift wrapping and other activity.
