I remember, when I was 5 or 6 it rained one Halloween. My parents’ solution was simple: build a cardboard costume that would be thrown away, combined with a rain suit to keep the water off of me. I ended up trick-or-treating in a cardboard box painted like a fire truck, and under the box I wore a little fire slicker and hat.
