I think that horse is actually a mule, because he distinctly yelled “I’m running to save my ass”.

I hope that Rodney doesn’t have the horse do its business on him!

THE BRAVEST COWARD

Sounds like an interesting book or movie.

Bravery is often the result of preparation and circumstance. When I was at a military academy, they would read out the citations for heroism each month. It took a while to figure out that this was to impress us with how dangerous and often foolish such actions might seem.

I will never forget the award for a pilot who landed on an unprepared runway in an F-105, while under small arms and mortar attack, picked up his downed wingman and got them both home in a cockpit built for one.

You also have to understand an F-105 cost only a couple of million dollars but it took more than twice that to train a fighter pilot to fly one.
