Iâve just been commenting on the Fred Basset strip. I mentioned that itâs exactly forty-five years since I discovered Fred through a TV show that debuted on Monday 25 April 1977. April 25 happens to be on a Monday again this year. This strip also brings back nostalgic memories of the 1970s. Iâm a little too young to remember the 1960s but I do remember the 1970s.
