My mom would have to have hair like Marge Simpson to be taller than my son & nephew (6’1" & 6’2", respectively)! Well, not quite – she’s still 5’7" at age 88 – but definitely a beehive of some sort!
My mother never had “tall” hair like that. When we kids grew tall, she just told us, “You might be bigger than me, but you’re not too big to spank!” The grandkids were in awe of her, as was most everyone who met her. This comic is funny, as I had a couple of aunts and cousins who liked the “tall” hair, including the “beehive”, which even at the time those years ago I found hilarious!)
My hair (and my husband’s hair) is flat – 1970s long, straight hair which I now wear put in a hair clip. Easiest thing to have. Just wash it and let it dry. When it needs to cut – put in a pony tail, flip it over my head and take one cut and finished!

Unless the grandchildren are teenagers or adults, that’s another story.

Because kids are slouching to hold their pants up or are always looking down at their phones.

It really is a picture of his mother and not a scene from Hairspray.

You just know tall hair will make a comeback. Briefly. All it takes is one celebrity ‘influencer’

I don’t have tall hair [never did – too fine also to even begin to remain tall] and I’m shrinking. I didn’t have that much height to begin with.
