@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp does not care about any thing but booze ;o) my avatar again is a picture of Rowan Atkinson our fav actor as Mr Bean grinning because he’s in a good mood like I am, how was your day? ours should be a little busy , but we should cope I hope, we both are in a good mood and after our bulk shopping is done we have no more errands to run , just keep inside the house keep hydrated and munch on potato crisps look alike that come in tubes keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
There was a classic moment in a Ritz Brothers movie where Harry Ritz and his two brothers are at a bar and Harry orders “Three zombies”. The barman replies, “I can see that. What do you want to drink?”
The Ritz Brothers are far less remembered than the Marx Brothers. They’re probably best remembered for a 1939 spoof of The Three Musketeers.
On April 23, I mentioned that we were celebrating Saint George’s Day here in England. Someone asked me if he was the man famous for supposedly killing a dragon and I replied that he was.
I have previously mentioned our George and the Dragon pub from here in Chester when speaking about Chester’s pubs. The pub is located in northern Chester between Liverpool Road and Parkgate Road. Liverpool is much better known around the world than Parkgate. The pub is currently closed but you can still see a large model dragon there.
When you drink a Zombie Cocktail you not only get an alcohol high, you also get a sugar high. I think Andy is reacting more to the sugar than the alcohol. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/217231/zombie-cocktail
That used to be me early on a morning but I’ve managed to find a way round it. What I do is wake up earlier but just stay in bed until it actually is time to get up. It gives you a chance to wake up properly so you don’t look like a zombie to everyone else. Haha.
Pringles are legendary! However when it comes to flavours of potato chips (crisps) I’m rather boring. My favourite is Ready Salted and I really enjoy Salt & Vinegar too. I don’t really care for all the exotic flavours you can get now. I guess I’m easily pleased, I like the simple things in life.
Today I went to pay our water bill and then went to the library which is where I’m replying to you from. I’m going back into the supermarket to buy myself a packet of Starburst chews (previously called Opal Fruits) and a bottle of Pepsi to reward myself for my blood donation successfully reaching a hospital. Not very adventurous I know. But they are things that I like. Simple things in life, you know?
Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.

Good thing the cocktails weren’t ones like “Screaming O_gasm” or “Se_ on the Beach”.

Bars only serve cocktails, because hens’ tails are much smaller and not as fancy.

I am surprise to see that Andy has drunk a rum based drink instead of ale or whiskey. Maybe someone who was also under the influence bought him one.
