I’ll bet those tiny aliens in that little flying saucer in the lower right corner of panel one are thinking “No intelligent life here.”

Spud, my advice to you is to put the bucket back on your head, immediately!

Perhaps some grade school First Responder training?

Spud will put that magnificent brain in the huge head to use one day. Maybe he’ll solve the mysteries of the universe, maybe he’ll find a cure for every disease known. In the meantime, all he has to do is live to grow up!

Makes me think of when my little brother, back when he was a toddler, did pretty much the same thing while heading into church one Sunday. Gave him a big old goose-egg right in the middle of his forehead. :P
